Free Prostrate Specific Antigen (Free PSA For Men)

The free PSA test measures the levels of a free Prostate-specific antigen in the blood. The test is a screening method for prostate cancer as it can help detect the presence of a disease at an early stage when treatment will be more effective. The free PSA test and total PSA test and their ratio are used for detecting prostate cancer, its progress, monitoring its treatment and assessing the chances of its recurrence.
